All The Pretty Lies is a new release by M. Leighton.  I love her books and could not wait to get my hands on this one.  It's filled with love, danger, mystery and some lies.  It's got a leading lady who you can not help but like but feel a little sorry for and a lead male with tatoos and a secret.

     Sloan is a girl who is trying to live her life and open up her wings and soar, but it's a little hard when you live with your father and older brothers when all of them are cops.  Sloan lost her mother as a young girl and has been raised by these overprotective men in her life.  She has very few friends and hasn't really had a boyfriend, how could you with her family scaring everyone away.

    Just turning 21, she decides that she is going to open up her wings and live the life she wants and show those overprotective men that she is no longer and little girl and she should be treated like an adult. The first thing on her list to freedom is to get a tattoo...a tattoo that will change her life.  When she walks into the tattoo shop, she meets Hemi and instantly feels something towards him.  Hemi is a handsome man with tattoos, how could you resist that, but there is something about him and they just click.

   A few trips into the shop and some small talk they begin to fall for each other.  Sloan wants Hemi and wants to be with him in ways that he doesn't seem to want.  But there is a definite connection.  Hemi fights his feeling for her because of a secret he has and the mission he is on.  A mission that will effect Sloan and her family.  Along with Hemi having a secret, so does Sloan.  

   As they fall in love and decide to be together the secrets come out and things change.  Can they stay together and work out the damage the secrets cause.  Can they help each other to live by a motto they both seem to go by...can they "LIVE, NO REGRETS"?  Read this captivating story!!

Again WOW!  Another addictive book from E.L. James.  Back for the second installment of Fifty Shades are Anna and Christian.  This book takes them even further into the many shades of Christian Grey!  Will Anna come back?  Will they find a way to be together?  Find out in this amazing book!

Anna left Christian and she is torn up about it, as is he.  Anna goes to work and tries to go back to her normal life.  Only she thinks about Christian day and night.  Christian wonders back into her life and knowing that she is not cut out for his "lifestyle", he comes up with a new arrangement for the two of them.

Anna struggle with the life that Christian wants and what she needs.  Dealing with his dark past and the damage it has done to him is only one of the obstacles these two face.  Anna also must deal with a woman from his past, the one responsible for his dark sexual needs.

Staying by his side and trying to balance his and her needs is a struggle, but the new arrangement seems to work and Christian opens up to her a little.  Their relationship seems to be on the hot and heavy and they need each other.  As this arrangement works and strengthens their relationship, Anna has to make a very important decision, that will change both their lives.

Fifty Shades Darker brings this romance to another level.  If you loved Fifty Shades of Grey then you will love this book.  I couldn't put it down! You see another side of the Fifty Shades of Mr Christian Grey!  Five Stars hands down!

Wow!  What can I say about this book?!  I picked this book up because it seemed like everyone was reading it.  My friends were posting about it on Facebook, it's in the news, on the New York Times Best Seller List....  Since it was everywhere I decided to actually pick it up and read it with everyone for a change, instead of waiting until it died down a bit.  I'm always the last one to read a series!  LOL  

I'm a little sleep deprived, as I could not put this book down!  It all starts with Anna Steele, a college student, who goes to interview Christian Grey.  A business man with dark secrets and personal demons.  She happens to catch his eye and make an impression as he does with her as well.   This young woman is lacking dating experience and is naive.  After the interview and a chance meeting, they seem to want to be with each other.

Christian takes Anna on a date and wants to see more of her, but also offers a warning to stay away from him, he is not good for her.   Well the heart wants what the heart wants and of course they cant stay away from one and other.   Christian has a proposition for Anna which she thinks about.  Anna is reluctant about this deal.  She feels like she needs this man and take her chances on him.

As things progress between the two of them and she is a little unsure of this man and what he wants.  As she begins to see what this man is about and what he wants from her, she decides that this is not what she signed up for.  Can they make it?  You'll have to read it to find out!  

I have to warn you though, some of the material in this book is very sexual and adult.  You might blush you might not, it all depends.  I feel that if you can handle the adult content in this book and follow the story of these two people, you will indeed love this book!  I couldn't wait to read the next book, Fifty Shades Darker,  and see where E.L. James takes Anna and Christian!
